Is your money growing the way your plan needs it to?
Compounding rewards time and consistency more than anything else. The harder questions are which accounts the money should sit in, how it is taxed along the way, and whether the rate you are counting on matches the risk you are taking. That is what a planning conversation is for.
Assumptions and limits. The rate you enter is a hypothetical assumption you supply; it is not a projection, forecast, or estimate of the performance of any investment, product, or strategy, and it is not a rate offered by anyone. The rate is held constant every year, which real investments do not do; actual returns vary and investments can lose value. Contributions are level and made at the frequency shown; when contributions and compounding happen on different schedules, each contribution earns the equivalent rate for its period. Taxes, fees, expenses, and inflation are not deducted. This tool is general education, not investment advice, and it is not a recommendation of any account or product.
